Getting started: We consult with you and your staff to make sure we understand your special needs. Our staff includes seasoned veterans who will help you through every phase of your transition to using ChartWare. We understand that every doctor and practice is unique and, from long experience in this field, we have developed the flexibility required to help you be successful.
Prerequisites and working with your team: We review with you and your team exactly what hardware and software is needed to accomplish your goals. In some cases, you already have all you need. In other cases, we can help you procure the equipment and services that are appropriate to properly implement your system at competitive prices. This may involve discussions with your chosen IT professionals, your staff or other vendors you rely on and trust.
Putting in the new system: We work with you during the changeover to achieve the minimum disturbance. One primary care doctor was operating the new system on the first day of installation. Typically, doctors and their staff take a few hours to gain basic familiarity with ChartWare and become fully operational within a few weeks of daily practice. ChartWare is ready to use "out-of-the-box" because we provide a strong, flexible knowledge base including medical terminology built by your colleagues over 20 years. You can personalize it to your own preferences as you choose.
Safe & Secure: We advise you how to keep your patient records safe and secure. Keep in mind that every system, including your current one, is potentially vulnerable to "the elements." Office fire, flood, theft or vandalism need to be dealt with head on. At ChartWare, we have many years of experience in helping you prevent problems.
Making your office work more smoothly: As with any new system, to get the best out of it, some changes in time-honored office procedures may be desirable. Sometimes you already do all the right things, but with older methods that are labor intensive or redundant. ChartWare helps you do the right things faster and helps you change to better procedures to take advantage of modern tools.
Training you to do it yourself: We train you and your staff to the level of proficiency you desire so that you feel quite confident in running the system without much outside help. This normally takes just a short time and varies with each practice—again our training, like all our services, is customized to your individual practice needs.
Keeping up: ChartWare is constantly improving and our maintenance program keeps you current. Getting started with ChartWare is simple—it is equally important that you can grow into new capabilities and accomplish more with your system over time so your investment is preserved.
